The Venetian Macau Resort & Hotel in Macau is the location for this years Poker King Cup Festival that runs from March 15th to 21st.

In 2019, there were 41 casinos in Macau. Within these casinos, Texas Holden Poker generates the most revenue among the games of fortune. While its revenues have declined slightly in recent years. This is probably the most serious of the city’s poker rooms. While the Venetian may have the single biggest game in town, nearly all the tables at the Wynn are high stakes. This is a poker room aimed at those with platinum credit cards.

There are over 20 events scheduled over the 6 days including the King Size Stack and PKC Super High Roller events as well as the Poker King Cup itself which has a HKD$5m Guaranteed prize pool.

Last year saw 518 players battle it out for the HKD$7,536,900 prize pool with China’s Wei Ran Pu taking home the trophy and HKD$1,464,000 1st prize.

The Super High Roller saw just 21 players enter but with a buy in of HKD$200K the winner – Kui Song Wu – still took home HKD$1,720,000 for his troubles.
